The types of activity we do tend to fall into the following headings:
- Physical Activity. This is anything that involves moving our bodies
- Exercise. Any type of physical activity could be considered exercise but really it should mean any activity we do deliberately for fitness or training rather than something which is part of our daily routine.
- Sport. This refers to physical activities we do on our own or in a team for competition or fun. Sport England works to increase access to sport and has an extensive list of sports on it’s website and plays a big part in funding and supporting communities.
